It is now possible to be legally married through a true pagan handfasting! I am an ordained minister, and as such, by the laws of the state of Tennessee, the handfastings performed by me are as legal as any other religious nuptial ceremony. I am also a High Priestess and therefore may preside over your handfasting. You are responsible for obtaining your own license, and making your own arrangements concerning place and time, decorations, invitations and the like.

  • Then what do YOU do, you may ask.

I attend, as a legal and spiritual representative, to officiate and preside over your nuptial handfasting. I can, by law, legally sign your license, thereby completing the legalities concerning your marital state. I have several handfasting rites from which you may choose, or if you prefer, I will perform a handfasting of your own devising. I will, of course, need to have the rite emailed or snail mailed to me in a timely manner.

  • Can I just be handfasted?

Of course. I have only three requirements which are noted in the link to your left labelled "Spiritual Requirements."

  • Can I just be married?

Yes. That, too is an option. To find out the legalities, please click the "Legal Requirements" link to the left.

  • Where will my handfasting/wedding take place?

That is your choice. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg both have banquet and conference rooms in all the finer hotels. Permits may also be obtained if you prefer to have your nuptials performed in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, through the Parks Department. A camping space is usually the preferred choice; however, there exist many historical locations where your rite may be performed. I strongly suggest a trip to Sevier County, to meet me, choose your spot, and obtain your license, well in advance of your actual wedding/handfasting trip.

You will be glad you did.

  • Is it necessary to get a license?

Only if you want your handfasting to be legal. If you choose to handfast only, that is also permissable. Please note that I do NOT perform handpartings any more than I would attempt to represent either spouse in a divorce proceeding.

  • Is there a charge for your services?

    Handfastings$50 donation
    Legal Handfastings$75 donation
    Marriage without Handfasting$50 donation
Just Sign the License And Get It Over WithI don't do that.
